Miwa Irie (入江 美和, Irie Miwa) is a diel mechanic in Alcyon Corporation's medical division, who also serves as an acting nurse due to staffing shortages. She worked with Hiro Nimura when they were both interns, and now provides support to his team.

Appearance
Irie is a short young woman with dark skin. Her chest-length curly black hair is tied back in a ponytail, with the ends being dyed a purple ombre; one strand shaped like a heart pokes out from the top of her head. At work, she wears the Alcyon Corporation uniform minus the tie and loafers, replacing the latter with a pair of steel-toed boots. Over this is a purple shop apron with pockets filled with tools.
Personality
Irie is an energetic person who got along well with Hiro when they were both interns. She is determined and not easily dissuaded from her ideas, even if things don't turn out the way she planned. For example, she's persevering in her job even though the company has foisted duties unrelated to her job title on her. However, she does like to complain; while doing checkups, she often gossips with the team about policies or higher-ups she dislikes. She does not see the contradiction in this, seeing her complaints only as a way to express herself.
She is somewhat fascinated with diels, having joined Alcyon Corporation because she wanted to know how they work. She is good at speaking with and managing diels, due to experience gained during her internship. Although Clover's reckless tendencies frustrate her, since it creates more work for her, she is still quite fond of them and proves willing to break company policies to help them later on.
Powers & Abilities
Average Mist Capacity: Irie is self-admittedly not a fighter, and usually uses her abilities for support purposes. Her aura is greyish purple.
Mare
Illicia is a familiar-type mare which takes the form of two floating fish-like familiars. They are small and cone-shaped, with an eye resembling a camera aperture surrounded by four fins at the wide end. She can command them mentally, but prefers giving verbal instructions as it reduces confusion.
Illicia can shine a beam of light from their camera eyes. In addition to providing visibility, anything within the beam becomes temporarily translucent, allowing Irie to see its inner workings. By adjusting the aperture's size, they can change the beam's "intensity", revealing different layers of the target's interior. This ability works very consistently on machines and other man-made objects, allowing Irie to easily pinpoint and diagnose diel injuries without touching them. However, it is less effective on organic structures such as humans.
Irie rarely dismisses Illicia, and they can often be found attached to her head, resembling a pair of horns, when not in use.
